Abstract kit artwork

With two newly refurbished hospitality lounges and corridor in one of the stands, I was asked to help decorate and bring some colour into the spaces.

As the rooms were also used for non-matchday purposes throughout the week (conferences and meetings) I didn’t want to make them too football focused.

I decided to create 20 x A1 sized prints based on previous club kit designs, bringing them to life in a more abstract way so only football fans might recognise them as kit designs, but would also work as pieces of art. I chose the locations for them and a simple white frame to make the artwork pop.
